“Good documentaries about children are pretty rare. Often, the child's role and words are defined by others. This film about Thea, a young Norwegian girl, is based on photos and the words with which she tells her story simply and honestly and at her own pace. Her personality remains unadulterated: she is a girl from Otta who has epilepsy, likes to tell jokes and loves her family. Thea's view of all this is crystal clear. The film shows their feelings in a gentle, credible and meditative way. The director, the cameraman and the protagonist Thea deserve our recognition for turning the resting images into a wonderful documentary.” From the honorable mention from the jury of “Nordic Docs”.
