About us
Association

look&roll is backed by the eponymous non-profit association. It is committed to promoting self-empowerment and understanding the concerns of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The association is responsible for organising the festival — from the selection of films to the various supporting programmes. The association was founded in 2006 by Gerhard Protschka, who was managing director of the short film festival until 2023.
