The story of four-year-old Libby, who, due to her deafness, leads a quiet life on the sidelines of the family. When her parents hire the bright social worker Joanne, Libby's life is breathed fresh: she learns sign language and is able to get in touch with her environment. However, this was soon met with resistance from unexpected sources. It gradually becomes clear that Libby is actually not the one whose behavior is a cause for concern. The film won the Oscar for Best Non-American Short Feature Film in 2018.
