The End

The story follows four deaf people from the 1980s, over a period of 60 years and well into the future. A new therapy to eliminate deafness is radically questioning deaf culture. A perfidious interplay of politics and business trivializes the eradication of people with disabilities as equal opportunities. Created as science fiction in 2011, this approach is already a bitter reality today for people with trisomy 21, for example. And that seems to be just the beginning...
