Nicht im Traum

“Nicht im Traum” tells the story of an aging couple who refuses to acknowledge their physical and mental decline. The Sisyphean task of dementia care and depressive everyday lethargy transform Paul and Elisabeth into helpless puppets of themselves. Night becomes day and everyday life becomes a nightmare. In the symbiotic relationship between Paul's still alert spirit and Elizabeth's physical armour, they try to maintain their lives without much help from outside. A visit from her daughter could be the turning point.
