A very personal work by the director and his wife, who are confronted with their young son's very rare and incurable illness called “Ondine's Curse” (the medical name is CCHS, Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome). Those affected stop breathing during sleep and are therefore dependent on artificial ventilation for the rest of their lives. The film shows how parents are gradually coming to grips with their fears caused by the illness. It also impressively shows the burdens parents of children with severe disabilities are exposed to. Nominated in 2015 for an Oscar in the Best Short Feature Film category.
