27-year-old Sanne has chronic depression, borderline disorder and she suffers from massive insomnia. After nine years of trying out every conceivable therapy to no avail, she decides to end her life. In order to protect her relatives from traumatic experiences, she chooses self-euthanasia as a path. She tells family and friends about her decision so that they can say their goodbyes to her. The film follows Sanne in her last weeks, in which she is looking forward to finally finding peace. An important contribution to the discussion about autonomy and the free right to self-determination.
