Door de Ooren van Ellen

11-year-old Ellen is deaf. Energetically and with a lot of self-confidence, she tries to find a way into the world of listeners. Together with her very best friend Myrthe, who has a hearing impairment, she sets out to leave the narrow universe of deaf people and explore new territory. But it's not that easy to find support when your whole family is deaf and the mainstream school doesn't want to allow sign language interpreters in class. Wherever you look, the barriers are high.
