Sven (94) has been retired for many years. The film follows his eventful life as a farmer and poet, which was marked by hard work and tragic losses. But Sven was also able to experience many magical moments. He is open to the wonders of nature and is happy with his animals and he always meets wonderful women. At the end of his days, Sven knows nothing better than holding the hand of his beloved Gunhild, even when he's behind the wheel of his car.
