18 years ago, Wim had a severe heart attack. Since then, he has lived with “locked-in syndrome” and is unable to speak or move. He lives at home and is cared for by his wife. In order to give her a free weekend, the sons Will, Edwin and Bram take care of their father. For the first time ever, the four men depend on each other for a few days. The closeness and intimacy mean that they once again talk about the time of the accident and how to deal with it.
