Workshop: What does crip filmmaking mean?
How does it differ from the classic work processes of the film industry? What could needs-oriented working methods look like? Michèle Widmer reads excerpts from her essay “Crip Time is Filmmaking Time” and shares her experiences and thoughts as a Crip filmmaker, both in film school and in the film industry. Among other things, she addresses the idea of “artistic flow,” ableistic set structures and examples of needs-oriented film work.
